How this calculator works
First, your monthly expenses today are increased by inflation up to the year you retire.
Next, the calculator works out the corpus needed on the day you retire to fund those expenses every month until the age you choose, with the withdrawals rising with inflation each month and the remaining balance earning the post-retirement return.
Finally, it grows your existing savings to retirement at the pre-retirement return, and calculates the monthly SIP needed between now and then to cover any gap.
